Help leading mobile solutions provider grow to the next level!
Marketing Manager
Atlanta, GA
Reporting directly to the VP of Sales & marketing with comprehensive responsibility for leading and managing Marketing efforts of this long-standing, privately-held market leader which sells to mobile applications (software as a service) and mobile solutions in support of companies’ critical business processes like marketing, customer care, payments, etc. Key role in further enhancing significant brand recognition and fore-running market positioning while driving revenue growth and profitability. Full scope of accountability includes branding, web marketing and management, sales collateral design/production, trade show marketing, promotions, and PR. Closely partner with Senior Executives, providing strategy and marketing related to product development, sales, and operations.
Planning/Strategy:
• Help create and evolve overarching Company message and positioning
• Develop key messages internally/externally for solutions in target markets
• Develop, update and implement marketing plans for lines of business
• Provide leadership with insights and analyses of market trends.
Web Marketing:
• Develop and manage website strategies and content.
• Lead efforts utilizing Internet-based business networking tools.
• Leverage web for lead generation
Collaterals/Events:
• Ensure written and electronic sales materials are updated and current.
• Develop and manage budgets for advertising, promotional items and tradeshows.
• Coordinate event participation with Directors and Vice Presidents.
• Plan and coordinate National Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, and Awards programs.
PR:
• Act as Company spokesperson to a variety of trade organizations
• Present to and participate in industry associations, meetings, seminars.
• Write releases to maximize industry publicity and serve as key media liaison.
Must Have or Be:
• 5+ years of proven experience in a Marketing with proven leadership
• Enjoy hands-on marketing functions
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably Marketing or relevant field of study
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Work well with senior executives, sales and 3rd party contractors
• Experience and interest in technology and technology-enabled services
• Good working knowledge of MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Outstanding professional references
• Ability/willingness to travel
Nice to have or be:
• Experience and expertise in enterprise lead generation and sales tools
• Skills in graphic design and HTML.
• Well-developed knowledge of the mobile technology services industry
• Experience in vertical marketing and sales (how to target an industry)
• Experience in marketing/sales for technology solutions

$75K and up, + bonus
